The seal between the shaft sleeve and the shaft, the seal between the moving ring and the shaft sleeve, the seal between the moving ring and the static ring, the seal between the static ring and the static ring seat, etc. the selected mechanical seal mode and the use of different positions may leak. The air leakage is not terrible. As long as we find the reason and solve it.

In order to avoid leakage of the reflux pump in the later stage, the test shall be done well during installation. The installation and commissioning of the mechanical seal needs a static test to observe the leakage, and judge whether it is the problem of the sealing ring through the leakage. The leakage indicates that there is a problem with the sealing ring. If it is large, it indicates that there is a problem between the friction pairs of the dynamic and static rings.

Generally, the purchased equipment has a trial operation stage. Leakage inspection occurs during the trial operation. The centrifugal force generated during high-speed operation will inhibit the leakage of medium. During the test run, the seal failure at both ends is basically caused by the damage of the friction pairs of the dynamic and static rings. Knowing the reason will facilitate the later debugging.
